Pascual Barrachina and Celia Novoa come together to bring something truly unique to the table.

Pascual Barrachina, a graduate in Romance Philology with a deep knowledge of history and cheese, has carried out extensive research creating historical routes linked to exceptional cheeses that are often difficult to find.

Pascual is very much Pascual: bohemian, rebellious, highly distinctive, with a great sense of humor, and thanks to his tireless research work, he makes it possible for us to enjoy a unique and highly recommended experience.

Celia Novoa, a Tourism graduate from the University of Girona, WSET Level 2 certified, and a Professional Sommelier certified by the Catalan Sommelier Association.

All cheeses are paired with a wine and accompanied by different types of bread.

Choose your route and we will create it for you:

• The Ancient Crown of Aragon: Provence, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, the Balearic Islands, Sardinia, Sicily, Naples, Apulia, and Rome.

• The Middle Ages: the monasteries. Northern Europe, southern England, northern France, Germany, and Switzerland. As these countries did not yet exist in the Middle Ages, the route will follow the different religious orders of Northern Europe.
• The Roman Empire: cheeses made by peasants and shepherds.
  • The objective was the preservation of milk.
  • Southern Europe, Extremadura, Castilla-La Nueva and Castilla-La Vieja, Occitania, the Alps… the deep south of Europe.
• The Vía de la Plata: a transhumance route from Cádiz to Galicia, passing through Huelva, Extremadura, Portugal, Zamora, León, and Galicia.
• Island Cheeses: Great Britain, Ireland, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Sicily, Corsica, Crete, and Cyprus.
• Greatest Hits: a magnificent selection of award-winning cheeses from various competitions, little-known, from small European farms.Grandes éxitos.

The tasting will take place in the elegant setting of Mesquevi, a beautiful and peaceful wine bar located five minutes from the center of Lloret de Mar.
